United Utilities tenders £58m+ strategic process chemicals AMP7 framework contract

United Utilities has gone out to tender with an AMP7 framework contract for strategic process chemicals worth up to an estimated £58.04 million.

The contract is being tendered in eleven separate Lots – Lots 1 to 3 account for around £53.5 miilion of the estimated total value.

  • Lot 1 Caustic Soda
  • Lot 2 Phosphoric Acid
  • Lot 3 Sodium Hypo
  • Lot 4 Sulphuric Acid
  • Lot 5 Chlorine
  • Lot 6 Hydrogen Peroxide
  • Lot 7 Ammonium Sulphate
  • Lot 8 AdBlue
  • Lot 9 Ferric Sulphate
  • Lot 10 Sodium Thiosulphate
  • Lot 11 Miscellaneous Process Chemicals

 

Initial contract term is 72 months, with up to 24 months extension options.

The water company is looking to appoint up to 13 suppliers to the framework agreement.
